The Calorie Tracker is your daily command center for staying on top of your health goals. At a glance, you’ll see your calorie intake, plus a full breakdown of your key nutrients like carbs, protein, fat, and fiber. Tap the main card to view detailed nutrition stats by day, week, or month—including insights into micronutrients like sodium, cholesterol, and vitamins. You’ll also discover your top food sources for each nutrient, helping you spot trends (and sneaky sugar sources) with ease.
Want to tweak your goals? Tap the Calorie Budget button in the corner to set your ideal daily calorie target and adjust your macro ratios—your plan, your rules.
Underneath, you’ll find your meal logging section. Tap any meal (breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks) to log food using your preferred method: barcode scanning, food label reading, manual search, or our Magic AI scan.
At the bottom of the tab, you’ll find the Exercise Tracker. Here’s the fun part: the more you move, the more you can eat. Eato syncs with Apple Health to import your daily steps and uses our scientifically developed formula to calculate the calories you’ve burned—automatically. These burned calories get added back into your budget as a Calorie Bonus, giving you more flexibility in your daily intake.
You can also log your workouts manually right in the app. Whether it’s a walk, run, HIIT session, or yoga class, every move counts. So lace up, get active, and enjoy the reward: more room in your calorie budget to fuel your day.
